WIDA Guide to Using Score Reports
This super-hero themed graphic helps school staff to analyze and communicate about student growth in English language proficiency. It gives two generalizations about WIDA ACCESS scores:
* Younger students often grow faster than older students.
* Students at lower proficiency levels often grow faster than students at higher proficiency levels.
You can find the graphic and more information here.
IDOE EL Summer Professional Development
This summer, the IDOE EL team will provide free EL-focused professional development in July to Indiana teachers and administrators in four sites across the state (West Noble, Hammond, Center Grove, and IU Southeast). At each site, three sessions will be featured:
Maximizing Instruction for English Learners through Academic Language
Strenthening School Leadership for ELs

More information can be found here.
Reporting School Changes to IDOE
In order to ensure the Indiana Department of Education has accurate information, all public schools, charters, and nonpublic state accredited schools must notify IDOE when changes are made that affect school configurations prior to the beginning of the school year for which the changes will take effect. This would include opening or closing schools, changing a school name, or changing grade levels. Read the complete guidance here.
