REVEAL math students (3rd & 8th periods) will continue working in Module 2 on Solving Percent Problems. Our focus will be on Tax, Discount, and Markup.
SOCIAL STUDIES
This week we will be starting our unit on Revolution in the Colonies. Students will be learning about the French and Indian War, and then we will be getting into the taxes and acts imposed on the colonists. At the end of the week, we will learn about the Boston Massacre from different perspectives.
SCIENCE
Now that we have learned the major functions and structures of our organ systems it is time to look more closely at how they work together to help us survive. This week students will be picking two organ systems and explaining how they work together to help us perform a certain activity (such as running the mile in PE class). The final product will serve a summative grade for this topic.
