Dr. Lowe's Virtual School Update
For the Week of 4/20/2020
This Day's ThoughtWe sleep in peace in the arms of God, when we yield ourselves up to His providence, in a delightful consciousness of His tender mercies; no more restless uncertainties, no more anxious desires, no more impatience at the place we are in; for it is God who has put us there, and who holds us in His arms. Can we be unsafe where He has placed us? Francois Fenelon | This Day's Verse“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be strong, and do it.” 1 Chronicles 28:9-10 The New King James Version | This Day's SmileListening requires the use of our hearts as well as our ears. On to Week 6!
Dear Eagles,
Happy Easter, Eagle Nation! As we enter week 6 of virtual learning, know that our faculty prayers are with you. We prayed for you all this morning at the close of our faculty meeting trusting in the Easter promises of Jesus for you and me.
You'll note this newsletter has changed a bit. We've realized we have been inundating you with emails since the beginning of our virtual learning initiative. A special thanks to Mr. Weiss and our department chairs for their leadership in creating Google docs that will be updated with weekly learning expectations within the different departments as you will note the buttons to links below. You may still receive emails from some teachers of electives such as Capstone, but please use this document as your gateway to weekly course information. If you have any questions, please reach out to the individual teacher of the course for clarification. Note that these links should be updated over the weekend and prior to each week.
God bless you all this weekend and stay safe!
Eagle Strong,
Dr. Lowe
