The Board of Education will hold a regular meeting tonight, Thursday, August 25, 2022, at J.P. Case Middle School. The public meeting begins at 7 p.m. The Board anticipates swearing into office new member Jaclyn Arce. She will serve on the Board until the vacant term expires on December 31, 2022. The district's Monthly Calendar will be published on August 29. September dates are still being confirmed and a final version will be posted online and shared with parents next week. Thank you for your patience. Important dates to remember:

• September 6 - First Day of School for Students - Day A/1
• September 15 - Early Dismissal (Grades 7-8 only) - J.P. Case Back to School Night
• September 21 - Early Dismissal (Grades 5-6 only) - RFIS Back-to-School Night
• September 26 - School Closed - Rosh Hashanah
• September 29 - Early Dismissal (Grades PreK-4) - Elementary Back-to-School Nights

Dr. McGann will hold a Superintendent Talk-a-Latte Roundtable Session in each school this year. Specific topics for each session are planned, including strategic planning and school security; curriculum areas such as civics, social studies, health and physical education; inclusivity, diversity and equity; STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering and Math; school climate and culture; and mental health.
