Guidelines For Dressing up for Halloween at Arcade
Celebrate Halloween and our first dance of the year by dressing up for Halloween!
We will be dressing up on Friday, October 28th at Arcade because that is the day of our dance.
Please keep these guidelines in mind when planning your school costume:
- Costumes must adhere to dress code (i.e., "zones" must be covered)
- No weapons, blood, bloody stumps, portrayal of violence or excessive gore are allowed
- No hoods or masks that covers your entire face are allowed--only masks for Covid are allowed (feel free to decorate your Covid face mask!)
- No props are allowed. For example, no handcuffs, weapons, or helmets may be used
- Be creative and have fun!
A FEW REMINDERS:
- We want to remind families to NOT pick up students across the street from the school. Students are crossing and nearly getting hit by oncoming traffic, and clear "No Stopping" signs are posted by the crosswalks. Please pick up your student at the designated area BEHIND the school for their safety.
- We do have many students that walk home, and we want to remind them to use the crosswalks and to walk on the sidewalks.
- Lastly, students, please pick up after yourself while you are waiting for your ride, and place all trash in the garbage cans.

Information on Early Dismissals from School
We receive a lot of early dismissal requests in the last 15 minutes of school, which is very disruptive to individual classrooms and the office, as well.
If you must make an early dismissal request during lunch, please allot extra time, as it is very difficult to locate students at lunch. We are unable to make an all-call because other classes are still in session during both lunches.
If it is absolutely necessary to pull your student out of school early, please remember to CALL AHEAD (especially when you are pulling students during the lunch period), so that it will not take as long to bring your student to the office.
Help Support our StudGov! They have organized 3 Dine and Donate events. Two events remain: Mod Pizza on 10/26, and Jimboy’s Tacos on 12/7.
