Hope School Happenings
Hello Students and Parents,
Students enjoyed their visit from Sarah Shuh from KMTA today. Excitement also fills the halls as Tuesdays approach and the trip to Alyeska Resort days is anticipated. What about this weather? The sunshine has been plentiful this Monday. Giggles are smiles as each of the students head out for recess. The sunshine and fresh air are so good for them.
Mrs. Peck's classroom seems to reading a lot this week. I wonder what teacher has them reading? I believe they are diving into outer space. Lots of facts about the universe and planets. I am hoping this week for an invitation to play Kahoot with them. I think Mrs. Peck may extend the fun Kahoot program Q & A to parents and students on parent night some day.
Mr. McKibben's class has been working on two step story problems in math. They continue to work hard each day. Changing around how we learn math with word problems is a great way to talk about math and think about how math applies to our every day lives and situations. The students are doing a wonderful job.
Don't forget Tiny Tots days and Community Night this week. We always look forward to seeing you.
Please view the attached Report Card to the Public. You will find much information within the letter including a link which takes you directly to the report card. Please see attached document.
