"A Night on the Red Carpet" - All Middle School Activity Night
Calling all superstars from Emerson, Holmes, and Frost to “A Night on the Red Carpet” at Emerson Middle School on Friday, February 10, from 7:00pm-9:00pm!
This star studded activity will have a DJ playing music in our black light glowing gym, an inflatable battle light arena, a Hollywood star craft, open gym, video games, Kahoot trivia, face painting, a prize walk, and free temporary airbrush tattoos! Refreshments will also be available in the cafeteria for a small additional fee while a movie plays. There will also be opportunities for you to feel like a star in our photo booths. There is a regular photo booth where you can get a photo strip for $1 or try out the free 360 photo booth! The 360 photo booth is where you and your friends will stand in the middle of a 360 degree rotating camera and leave with a digital live action clip! Please note that Emerson’s red carpet event is casual and there is no formal attire required!
Tickets are $10 each and will be on sale Wednesday, February 8th, through Friday, February 10th, during all lunches. There will be NO TICKET SALES AT THE DOOR.
We can’t have these events without help from parents like you. Please sign up using the Sign Up Genius by Wednesday, February 8th, if you would like to chaperone or make a donation towards the evening.
In order to volunteer you must have an ICHAT Background check completed online for the 2022-23 school year. If you have already been approved this year, there is no need to complete it again. ICHAT forms must be submitted no later than Friday, February 3rd to make sure we have time to check everyone that volunteers. This ensures the safety of our students. Thank you!
If you have any questions please contact your school’s activity director:
Tara Pavlic & Ben Dewey (Emerson Middle School)
Kelli Austin (Holmes Middle School)
Erin Radley (Frost Middle School)
Chromebooks Available at FHS Preview Night
LPS still has Chromebooks available for interested families thanks to a grant the district received. These Chromebooks will be available at the FHS Preview Night (more information below).
In order to pick up a Chromebook, you will need to complete THIS FORM. When you stop at the table to get your device, just give them your student's name and provide a picture ID so they can record who picked up the Chromebook. Some important things to keep in mind...
- These Chromebooks are for home use only. Your student(s) does not need to bring it to school.
- If you have multiple students in the district, you can get a Chromebook for each student. Please complete the form for each of your students.
- These Chromebooks will stay with your student as long as they are with Livonia Public Schools. There is no need to turn it in at the end of each school year.
- The Chromebooks require a student Google account to login. For your student's safety, all the same content filters that are applied at school are applied to these Chromebooks wherever they are.
