School Uniform
The school uniform ordering web site (www.schooluniform.hk) is up and running again and parents may now pre-order uniform for the new school year for delivery in early August. Please note that there is a new sizing scale – check the web site for measurements. If you wish to arrange a fitting session of uniform in the new sizing, please contact Becky via email to pta@glenealy.net.
Important points to note:
- Only the sizing scale will change, the design remains the same. All uniform purchased this year is still current.
- Orders placed from 28 May to end of June will be pre-orders for the new school year. Delivery will be to your home in early August, before the start of the new school year.
- Once the new school year commences, orders placed will be delivered within 3-5 business days, as previously.
Old School Uniform
Please be advised that the last day for purchases of old school uniform will be Friday, 1 June. Please email Becky to arrange a time.
Donations of old uniform for re-use and recycling can be dropped off at the PTA Uniform Shop on Wednesday 20th June - 3.00pm
If you have any questions or need more information about any aspect of school uniform please email Becky at pta@glenealy.net.
Looking to get involved? Opportunities in the new school year
One of the things that makes Glenealy such a special school is its sense of community. There are many ways in which you can contribute. Why not become a Class Parent next term, join the PTA or help at one of the many events and fundraisers held over the course of the year? We welcome all new ideas and thoughts. Please contact Becky at pta@glenealy.net if you are interested in hearing more.
Green Week June 4th - 8th, 2018
The Green Team are excited to share with you the amazing initiatives and activities for next week’s Green Week. The focus this year is to say, ‘NO to Plastic’. Below is a snapshot of the fun activities on offer and we will end the week with an exciting GREEN Carpet Show of your Environmental Superheroes (costumes need to be made out of recycled materials).
Glenealy, help us make a positive difference by saying ‘No’ to plastic straws and looking to use metal straws. You can purchase these from Plastic Free HK or
Cents Collection
Have you ever seen someone sleeping on the streets or begging for money?
Have you ever seen a coffin home like the model in the library?
Do you want to help these people?
If you would like to help, please donate any spare HK cent coins. All of your cents will go directly to the charity ‘Impact HK’. It would help provide food, water, blankets and other daily needs.
We will be in the lower playground from 8:00am -8:30am every Thursday morning to collect your coins.
As the leader of "Impact HK" said to us when we interviewed him for our Exhibition Passion to Action project: “Even 10 cents can make a difference.”
If you have any questions please come and see us.
Thank you for taking action and helping the homeless.
