Clubs and Electives Registration
We are thrilled that so many families have signed up with FamilyID, and students have already dove into their first week and a half of sessions!
While registration is now closed, for parents who have signed their child up for more than one club or elective during the same day/time, please contact Mrs. Smith at jsmith@northwoodcs.org in order to clarify which will be the chosen activity. This will help our teachers and specialists keep track of attendance more easily and efficiently, and will allow for more time to be spent on activity engagement.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
Class Schedule on Election Day
In order to encourage community participation in this year's crucial election, the majority of the day on November 3rd will be an asynchronous learning day for students. The following is the plan for the day:
- Students will be logging on from 8:30-10:45am for small group instruction.
- Work for all of your child's usual synchronous subjects will be assigned via a Google Form.
- All students will participate in some sort of voting or election activity.
Quick Guide to Focus Parent Portal
Northwood's Focus Parent Portal is a tool designed to enhance communication and involvement for you in your child's education. This portal will allow you to monitor your child's progress in school by providing timely access to both assignments and grades that are entered by the teacher throughout the grading period. This communication tool will improve your ability to assist your child and to communicate with the teacher if necessary.
