We love our Secretaries!
It’s Clerical and Secretarial Appreciation week! We are so thankful for these three women that are the backbone of our Counseling office! They are so kind and helpful to our students, staff and parents. Thank you for ALL you do Amanda, Kristi and Selina!
Need Help Completing the FAFSA for College Financial Aid?
Each day Inver Hills Community College hosts free FAFSA help sessions with professional financial aid officers. You DO NOT need to attend Inver Hills or plan on attending. This is for seniors who are applying for financial aid for college next year. Information about the Inver Hills FAFSA assistance and other free help options can be found HERE.
Parents of Seniors with January 1st College Application Deadlines
The deadline for submitting requests for letters of recommendations or school reports to teachers and counselors so they can be completed before our Winter Break is Friday, December 10th. Students should plan accordingly as transcript requests are not processed over winter break.
Sending Transcripts: REMINDER!
Seniors applying to colleges who need official transcripts must use Parchment to request them.
Be sure and use a personal email (not school email) when setting up an account. Transcript orders are processed on school days - not weekends/holidays.
EmpowerU
EmpowerU is a proven, data-driven program that provides students with the daily skills and personalized support they need to become confident, self-directed learners that can thrive in the face of adversity and challenges. College/Military Visits
The admission representatives that visit Eagan high school are the same people that review college applications. Students can view these visits by logging into their Naviance Student account (Video directions here). Students should register on Naviance for both virtual AND/OR in person college visits. The registration in Naviance is the pass to leave class. If registering for a virtual visit during the school day, students should bring their iPad and earbuds to the counseling office to log-on for the visit. College visits are added daily, so students are encouraged to log into Naviance to see updates.
College Visits currently scheduled for the week of Nov. 22.
Tuesday, November 23: University of Colorado, Boulder - 2:00 PM
** If students would like to attend any of these college visits, they can register on Naviance.
