PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
Our year is off and running. The students are learning expectations and practicing them all throughout the school. Teachers and staff are catching kids following expectations and rewarding them with PAWS. The PAWS raffle buckets have started and kids are earning rewards like sitting in the principal's chair for the day and an extra class recess.
REMINDERS:
Drop off lane -- if you are going to bring your child into school or to the doors, please park in a marked stall and walk in; do not leave your car along the sidewalk. Please drive slowly through the parking lots. We do have students and families walking in the lots during the morning times. This is to keep us all safe this school year.
End of the day -- please do not park your car in unmarked spots (fire lane or along the fence) in the front office lot when you are coming in to pick up your child. Please only park in a marked spot in either the front office lot or the outer lot beyond where the busses are. This is for safety reasons.
Please be sure that you are communicating with your child's teacher about any questions you have. Ask about classwork or behavior...stay informed. We are here to work together to educate your child.
I have a favor to ask of everyone this year. I would like to ask everyone to take a deep breath when becoming frustrated or upset with someone else. We do not know what others are going through, causing them to do things a certain way. A way in which we are not happy with. Each of us can have moments in our lives when things are tough and we could use a helping hand. That helping hand might just be someone taking a breath and giving that person a break or a pass. Please be mindful of others. I thank you in advance for your assistance with this thought.
Please contact me with any questions or concerns you have about your child or school.
Mrs. Michalski
