The Cure Panel Talk Show is excited to begin its talk show series on Breast Cancer with Dr. Julie Gralow, on Thursday, 22 August @ 6pm ET.


Dr. Julie Gralow is director of Breast Medical Oncology at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and is a professor in the oncology division of the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Gralow has dedicated her life to fighting breast cancer. She’s involved in research and caring for patients, has co-authored the book, "Breast Fitness: An Optimal Exercise and Health Plan for Reducing Your Risk of Breast Cancer." After receiving her bachelor’s degree from Stanford University, Gralow graduated with a medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School and a medical oncology fellowship at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, where she also spent time researching immunity to the HER 2/neu oncogene in patients with breast cancer.

April Stearns

April Stearns is a breast cancer survivor and a mother. She chronicles her journey on cancer-free life and parenting her lovely four-year-old daughter in her blogs, I [Heart] My Life andGreen Tea & Chocolate. April was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She has undergone 4 months of chemotherapy with Taxol, Herceptin, and FEC and a radical modified mastectomy followed by 28 sessions of radiation. April is currently cancer free.


Lani Horn

Erika Lade

Erika Lade is an Project Manager at Azul 7, a design consultancy working to make the medical system more human. She also holds a Master of Arts in Food Studies at New York University where her research focused on the prison food system and its industrial ties. Erika is a breast cancer thriver and advocate for young cancer patients.
