Sixth Grade Farewell - Updates
Wednesday, June 17 at 4:30 p.m.
The staff and I are looking forward to saying goodbye to our wonderful sixth graders on Wednesday, June 17 at 4:30. Weather looks good.
Schedule:
6S - 4:30-5:00
6N - 5:00-5:30
The plan is very simple. We would like all sixth grade students to come and say goodbye to BTES and the staff at BTES. Everyone will remain in their car (social distancing is a must) and follow a designated path to wave goodbye. The PTA has a special treat for all our 6th grade students and we would like to take a parting picture of our students in their cars as a farewell to BTES - I will share the pictures in their Drive. If you would like to dress up your cars that will certainly add some flare to our final picture. Students should either be in the front passenger side of the vehicle or the back seat behind the front passenger when driving through the line. This will help with our picture taking. We hope everyone can make time and drive on by.
For this plan to work we need the following procedures to be adhered too:
- We are requesting that no one gets out of their vehicle at any point.
- Parents will enter the teachers parking lot and form a line of cars (see map below and watch video)
- Traffic flow will be directed by the BTPD.
- Cars will pull into the parent drop off and will slowly drive past BTES staff.
- A picture of Mr. Prima and Mr. Waldron with the graduating students in their car will then be snapped.
- As you leave the event a special treat will be provided to you on the way out - thanks to our wonderful PTA.
