Message to Parents

Fifth grade holiday lunch has been rescheduled. The NEW date is December 3rd. Lunch times will not change. Cost is $3.50, cash only, for all visitors, adults and children who do not attend CMCSI.

Social Studies News:

We will be learning about the turn of the century in America, immigration, inventors and inventions, Spanish American War, and the Panama Canal.

Reading News:

This week the students are learning about point of view.

Continue to read and complete book reviews. Students can access the document from home if they use their student number when prompted. Several students have been able to successfully complete these at home. The students are working on identifying character traits in text.

Math News:

This week we will continue to work on measurement. Math quiz on Friday.

Writing News:

The students are revising the rough drafts of their opinion essays with partners. They will edit, publish, and print their final draft by Friday.

December 3rd - 5th Grade holiday celebration - this is a NEW date

December 10th - 5th Grade holiday lunch
