Lions Park Paw Prints
Letter from the PTO
Dear Lions Park Families,
It is hard to believe that we are already heading into the final days of the 2022-2023 school year. This year has flown by and I know many of us are gearing up for summer! The PTO had another busy and fun month!
We started off the month with our “Coolest School Contest” at Capannaris. Thank you to all of the teachers who scooped for our children and the families who came out and supported this fun event! The students enjoyed their final special lunch of the school year from Tortorice’s Pizza. A HUGE thank you to Vicki Fink and Erica Gordon for all of their hard work on the special lunch program this year!
Staff Appreciation Week was a busy week full of fun surprises and treats for our AMAZING Lions Park Staff. From special lunches, shopping, breakfasts, gift cards, and flowers we hope we were able to show just how much we love and appreciate all of our staff. Thank you to Melissa Nelson for all of her hard work for Staff Appreciation Week!
We also hosted our annual Spring Fling. Thank you to our many families for coming out to have
some fun even though we had to move indoors because of the rain. The children had so much fun playing carnival games and dancing together. Thank you to Carly Bennett for all of her work on making the Spring Fling a success-no matter the weather!
Also, a huge thank you to those parents who have been participating in the Box Tops for Education program! We just received a check for another $40 thanks to this program! Keep it up!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS:

The PTO is looking for volunteers for the 2023-2024 school year.. We are always looking for new faces to come join us. If you are interested in chairing a committee next year, please reach out to Mallory Reyes or Morgan Tone. We look forward to working together with you!
Our next PTO meeting will be held in person at Mrs. P and Me. The PTO will celebrate our
successes over the past year and thank our members by providing appetizers from 7-8 and have our regular business meeting from 8-9.
