Dear Everitt Families:
Snow! We were all excited to finally have some snow today at school! Now that it is FINALLY cold, just a reminder that, if it is over 20 degrees, we will go out for recess. Please have your children dress accordingly.
This week, we had a community night at the 6/7 volleyball game on Monday night, a ukulele concert and an 8th grade volleyball game on Tuesday night, and a choir concert on Thursday night. Our Optimist Club students also held a bake sale on Monday through Wednesday. Our students created beautiful music at both concerts and played so well in their games! Thanks to all who came to support our kids! Next week, our band and orchestra students will perform on Thursday evening. I'm looking forward to hearing them play.
Just a reminder that we started doing random hall sweeps for tardies this week. Our teachers and students are appreciating being able to begin class on time and we will continue this practice. Thank you for having conversations with your children about the importance of being in class on time.
Below is a link to a parent survey from the district. We would love it if every parent and guardian would take the time to fill it out. Your feedback is very important to us. We make many of our decisions based on this particular survey. Thanks for your honest feedback and your time in completing it. You make us better.
Thank you for supporting and believing in your neighborhood school. It is our privilege to partner with you!

New Parent Portal and Enrollment Updates -- Goodbye Jeffco Connect and Hello Enroll Jeffco for 2022-2023
Jeffco Connect may be gone, but its functionality is not. If you are looking for the links to pay student fees, complete the free and reduced lunch application, update contact information, etc., head over to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. They’re all there under the “More” tab in the left side navigation.
EnrollJeffco is now the first stop for all families looking to enroll in a Jeffco Public School. To add new students, enroll or apply for the upcoming school year, or apply to an alternative school, log into EnrollJeffco to begin the enrollment and registration process. Once you have enrolled in a school, you will receive a link to complete the household registration process in Infinite Campus.
Finally, if you’ve forgotten your username or password for any of these systems, you can use our new Personal Account Manager to recover or reset those. Questions? Check out our Infinite Campus Parent Portal page, the updated EnrollJeffco information, or visit JeffcoHelp.
EnrollJeffco 2022-23 Opens THIS WEEK!

Celebrations!
Sources of Strength Students - During our field trip to MorningStar, the staff complemented our students. They said that they had incredible manners and were incredibly polite. Thank you for representing our Everitt students so well, Sources!
Brevyn G. - Brevyn has been instrumental in holding together the Concert Band. He knows his part inside and out and is a strong musical leader in the class. He provides a solid foundation for us to work with and helps keep us on track. He also takes feedback really well and works hard to improve.
Ryland M. - Oftentimes I catch myself wanting to ask Ryland to stop talking in class until I realize he's asking reflective questions about the rehearsal to his peers. This happens all the time, not just once or twice. It's in casual conversation and so focused on what we are doing. I love his enthusiasm for music and learning more.
Truc N. - Truc can be a shy person but she has come into her own this quarter playing the flute. She is not afraid to play out and be loud because she knows her part so very well. She is often alone on her part as well but it doesn't stop her from playing loud and proud and contributing to the ensemble in such a positive way.
Ryli L. - I've known Ryli since 5th grade and I feel like this year she has really found her voice in music. She is a solid musician. No part is too small or too big. She stays incredibly focused and works so hard to nail her part every time. I'm so very proud of her achievement this year. She has definitely leveled up!!
David S. - David was super helpful at the ukulele concert on Tuesday night. He helped open the door for our guests and put up chairs after the concert.
James M. - Thanks for being a line judge at the 6/7 volleyball game!
