All about CELLS!
A big congrats to our Science Bowl Team this year, under the leadership and guidance of Mrs. Asher, we know they will represent JSE well at their upcoming online competition.
Great Job again to our Robotics Team at their 2nd competition at Hobart High School!
It's Marvelous Monday at JSE!
On the JSE news and in our classrooms this week we celebrate MLK Day through books, articles, and short videos. His lessons in leadership and fortitude are excellent examples of our characteristic traits for the month.
As a school learning goal we continue to focus on having a growth mindset when using our mathematical problem solving skills to persevere through math word problems. Your child's class will be examining problem solving steps, solving Mojo's Challenger, and tracking their class progress in our hallway. Thank you nightly for your effort and time, working together with your child to solve those rigorous word problems in their homework can be challenging for us parents too! An excellent website to support your child at home: https://www.khanacademy.org/
Don't forget to get your Lil' Bearcat Spirit Wear, information below.
We will make it a great week at JSE!
