BAND FAQ
Q: Is it before or after school?
A: The only commitment outside of school hours is your concerts and your practice time at home. There are no extra practices before or after school.
Q: What instrument is right for me?
A: Check out bepartofthemusic.org and start deciding which instrument you like best. Also go to the music store - Matanuska Music - and they will be happy to let you try different instruments to see what will work best.
Q: Which instruments can I rent from the school?
A: Flutes, Clarinets, Trumpets, Trombones, and a few Baritones are available to rent as well as Bell kits.
Q: Which instrument is easiest?
A: They each have their own time when they are challenging, but I don't recommend flutes for 4th grade, they will suit you better in 5th grade.
