We are 'All-In' this Together!

A MESSAGE FROM MR. STEELE & MRS. POWELL

Below you will find this week's links to learning.

We are excited to announce that you and your children can enjoy 'Story Time' with our librarian, Mrs. Noble! Just click Mrs. Noble's Library button below! Also, be sure to check out all the additional links Mrs Noble has just waiting for you. Pretty AMAZING!

ALSO...where there is a will, there is a way! Our Mathews Spring PTA Book Fair begins today.

See the 'button' below for information about how you can participate from the comfort (and safety) of your own home.

We have also included the link to the Plano Symphony Orchestra. Each Saturday evening at 8:00 they will 'live stream' performances. So picnic in the backyard and enjoy some amazing music... or maybe in the front yard with your neighbors in their front yards and have a night at the symphony 'together'!

A reminder that as we work together during this time teachers may reach out to visit with you. As they are calling from their personal lines, when you receive a call it will show the number is blocked, much like when your doctor returns a call. Thank you for accepting these calls.

We thank you for your feedback and patience as we work through this time together.

With grace and trust we are 'All-In' this together.

PLEASE know, we know many of you are working from home, or someone else is helping care for your family. The learning opportunities below are user friendly. Our teachers are available to respond to your emails Monday through Friday, 9:00-11:00 a.m. and again from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

HELPFUL HINT: We love that some of our students are studying 'together' via 'ZOOM' on their own. This is a wonderful opportunity for social interaction and student engagement. Just be sure that as they add this time to their day that they make sure they have time to complete their lessons to their teachers.

Take care of you and yours and in so doing, we take care of each other.

PISD DISTRICT UPDATES:

Support Services:

Plano ISD is dedicated to caring for our students in and outside of the classroom. We are working diligently to offer solutions that will minimize the effect that this extended school closure may have on our families. Thank you to the community groups and volunteers who have reached out with various offers of help.

As we receive information on available support and services, we will post those details on our website at www.pisd.edu/Page/22423.

Pr-K Round-Up:

Due to school closure, pre-k registration has been postponed. Watch for updated information online at www.pisd.edu/Page/441.

PASAR Tuition Questions:

Customers will be credited for tuition fees for the weeks that Plano ISD is closed or PASAR is not operational. This will be calculated on a monthly pro-rata basis.

Since the school district has extended the closure into April, billing for April will not be calculated and reflected in the PASAR Parent Portal until the reopening date is known.

At this time, please do not make a payment for April PASAR tuition. For more information, visit www.pisd.edu/pasar.
