Did you know ...

National Trivia Day is observed across the United States each year on January 4.

In ancient times, the term “trivia” was appropriated to mean something very new.

Nostalgic college students in the 1960s, along with others, began to informally trade questions and answers about the popular culture of their youth. After writing trivia columns, Columbia University students Ed Goodgold and Dan Carlinsky created the earliest inter-collegiate quiz bowls that tested culturally (and emotionally) significant, yet virtually useless information, which they dubbed trivia contests.

  • Trivia (Dell, 1966) was the first book treating trivia in the revolutionary new sense, authored by Ed Goodgold and Dan Carlinsky. This book achieved a ranking on the New York Times best-seller list.

  • Over time, the word “trivia” has come to refer to obscure and arcane bits of dry knowledge as well as nostalgic remembrances of pop culture.

  • In North America, the game, Trivial Pursuit peaked in 1984, a year in which over 20 million games were sold.

HOW TO OBSERVE

  • Challenge friends to a fun few games of Trivia Crack (free App)

Welcome to 2017!!

A year in which we hope will be one for the books. In 2016, we had new innovation in technology, the election of a President, fresh developments in foreign countries such as Brexit, and the rise of Dak Prescott. But something we all need to keep in mind for the future, is our future. This belief for the life ahead of us can only be acted upon when which the owner of that belief, believes in what he is owning, while staying true to that thought of belief. Setting your New Year's resolution will keep you on that path of staying true to your way of life, while improving and further launching your life in a forward direction.

Ways in which you could you figure out the goal you need for an efficient lifestyle can be found by searching through your past daily activity, finding the actions or thoughts you believe hurts your productivity in the average day. The goals will change keep you emotions positive because of the knowledge of achievement gained everyday.

2017 will only be a great year of you make it. Holding true to the goals placed from the New Years will benefit you, not only in the short-term, but in the long-run too. Keep achieving your goals!
