Husky Families,

It has been a busy but awesome week! Wednesday the 5th graders went to the Fish Hatchery in Pisgah National Forest with Muddy Sneakers to learn about all the creatures that live in the rivers. Also, this week we had our first Multicultural Night and it turned out to be an awesome event. The students did a great job in singing and creating artwork and the families did a great job of bringing some phenomenal food. I was so excited to see our community come together and celebrate our students! We ended the week with our Special Olympics athletes representing Hillandale well!! They had a great time competing in their events and eating a lot of snow cones!!

We are looking forward to next week when we will celebrate our staff! It will be teacher appreciation week so any and all thanks and gratitude go a long way in this job so if you have time to just let our staff know how much they are appreciated that would be awesome! Hope all have a great weekend and looking forward to another great week!
