Blind Date with a Book
Books with pink hearts on them will probably be enjoyed by females.
Books with red hearts on them will probably be enjoyed by males.
Books with silver writing on them will be enjoyed by any readers.
The idea is that readers will check out a wrapped book without knowing its title or author or seeing its cover..... a blind date. Maybe you will discover a book, a genre, or an author that you never would have considered prior to your date with that book. Once you finish the book please return it and the "Rate Your Date" form to the library. Students who complete the forms will have their names entered in a drawing for an iTunes gift card or a free book.
"The Perks of Being a Wallflower" Book/Movie Event
On Friday, February 26th, everyone who reads the book is invited to a Book Discussion in the library after school at 3:45. Pizza, chips, cookies, and drinks will be served. Once the discussion concludes, the movie version of The Perks of Being a Wallflower will be shown.
You do not want to miss this fun event!
