HFRCS Newsletter SY2021-2022
November 9, 2021 - Volume 1 Issue 12
From the Principal's Office
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Tomorrow our 8th grade will be presenting their Living Saints Museum to our school. Each class will have the opportunity to visit the museum, see the Saints in person, interact with them and ask them questions. This is a favorite tradition in our school and is a wonderful learning opportunity for our students. With the Living Saints Museum comes the Thanksgiving Food Drive. As admission to the museum, we are asking for each student to donate one food item to the food drive. Please see the food list in today’s newsletter of what each class is requested to bring. We are proud that each year we can donate complete Thanksgiving dinners to families in our parish and school communities. Thank you so much for your support of the Thanksgiving Food Drive!
This Thursday, November 11, there will be no school for all students as our teachers have a day of professional development.
On Friday, November 12, we will be having our inaugural girls Powder Puff Game! Our 7th grade girls will be taking on the 8th grade girls in a flag football standoff. This is a student led fundraiser for the Mulholland family. In support of Danica, there will be a $1 admission donation for students/children, and $2 admission donation for adults. There will be a snack stand, basket raffles and a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds will go to the Mulholland family. In the event of bad weather, the rain date for this event is Friday, November 19. Please consider coming out to support our students in support of Danica!
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Mrs. Haggerty
