Who was Aaron Swartz?
Aaron Hillel Swartz was an American computer programmer, writer, political organizer, and internet activist. Aaron was involved in the development of the web feed format RSS, at age 14. Aaron was a rebel and would download illegal files and would hack into other peoples private file systems. Aaron contributed to many networks and causes, but the most important cause he joined was from the group Demand Progress. The cause was called the Stop Online Piracy Act.
Aaron was a prodigy because he was very smart and he knew a lot about computer technology by the age 14. Aaron got into the computer business at age 14 also. He is famous because he contributed to many causes and networks and he tried his hardest to stop online piracy. He helped society by stopping online piracy and by creating websites that people enjoy and even though the MIT Government was on him he still downloaded illegal files trying to stop online piracy. Some of his accomplishments were helping create the website Reddit, contributing to the web-feed format RSS, died trying to stop online piracy, and people putting him in the Internet Hall of Fame.
