Actions speak louder than words
“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”
– John Fitzgerald Kennedy
An important concept from one of our former presidents is expressed in this quote. A concept that all of us can remember and apply in all phases of our lives. Certainly when we utter words of appreciation our intent is to be genuine. Do the actions by which we live reflect the sentiment of our words? This is a challenge that we face everyday; however, it is one that is worthy of striving toward as we try to embody these same characteristics in our youth.
