MARCH 2018
NP3 MIDDLE IS MOVING
We are excited to announce that our move is finally here! Every 6th-8th grade class (with the exception of science and physical education) will be relocated to our new, state-of-the-art structure. We are thrilled students and staff will be able to experience learning in a 21st century environment.
Details about the move:
- Students will begin classes in our new building April 2nd. Students will begin their day in Advisory 8am.
- There is a special bell schedule our first day back to accommodate Advisory at the beginning of the day. Students will get a tour, revisit old expectations and learn revised or additional expectations specific to the new building.
- Student Advisor locations will be posted Monday morning. Counselors and administration will help students navigate to their Advisory.
- We are excited to have families visit our new home as well! There will be an opportunity for all families to visit during our Leadership Day event on Wednesday May 9th.
- The new building is on the same campus.
We hope you're excited about the move! This is a rare opportunity to start anew and enjoy a space of quality and innovation. We encourage families to talk with their children about what they're looking forward to in this new space and some of the ways or choices they can make in helping maintain a clean and respectful home away home. Pirate pride! Arrrrgh!

The Leader In Me: Student Led Conferences
There are many benefits to student led conferences. It's a great opportunity for students to take ownership of their learning and academic progress. Students get involved and learn how to use evidence and articulate about areas and skills they excel in or where they experience challenges. Additionally, these conferences are a wonderful way to engage in open and honest dialogue, facilitated by the students.
Students have been creative in the way they share at student led conferences. They have used leadership notebooks, online portfolios, comics, poems, visuals and other art. NP3 is also proud to share that students met the goal of every child leading their own conference by mid-year. 100%!
We thank you for being a part of their learning! Go Pirates!
