Advertise in the Yearbook

DECA in partnership with the yearbook team is looking for businesses and organizations interested in putting an advertisement in the Severance High yearbook! Several advertisement rates will be offered. Ads can be simple such as a page sponsorship or can be large and consist of an entire page! This is a great way to make a business known to the many parents, students, and staff who will buy a yearbook this school year. If you are a business owner or know of a business that may be interested, please email for more information.

German Corner

This week I wanted to add some sunshine to an otherwise difficult period as we continue to deal with the challenges of COVID and enter the dark days of January. Believe it or not, there is a German language equivalent to the saying “If life gives you lemons, make lemonade”….”Wenn das Leben eine Zitrone gibt, dann mach Limonade draus”. That is exactly what the four Schwaderlapp sisters did last Spring during the first coronavirus quarantine. The girls invented a new coronavirus board game based on their experiences. They’ve even marketed and are selling the game now. Check out the video below. Keep your chins up! Bis nächste Woche!
