Mrs. Jackie Smith

As the 2019-2020 school year began, Reading Interventionist Jackie Smith started her third year in that role here at Forest Hill Elementary, also marking the beginning of her 18th year as an educator in Caddo Parish. Added to all that goes with her position at FHE, she also serves on the District ELA Content Leader Team, where she is responsible for providing professional development to educators across the district. In her spare time, she serves as the PTA President.

Mrs. Smith received her Bachelor's Degree at LSUS and her Master's in Educational Leadership at American College of Education.

Mrs. Smith is the proud mom of Hayden, a 2018 Forest Hill Alum, who is now a YDMS Spartan and the wife of Derrick, a retired veteran of the US Army. She loves spending time with her family playing board games, enjoying the outdoors, and going to church.
