Without power, leaking and busted pipes, each of you made significant efforts to keep in touch with teachers and leaders. Your efforts did not go unnoticed. All assignments that were due last week, scholars will receive a grace period for due dates. Teachers will discuss during class the extension that will be offered for capturing your scholar's grades.

Attendance Verification For Nine Weeks 1

We will begin verifying scholar attendance for the first nine weeks. Families, please log in to parent self serve and view your scholar's absences. If you have any documentation for a marked absence where your scholar engaged in instruction remotely, please submit this information to your scholar's homeroom teacher immediately or email to Mrs. Cole. scole@bmtisd.com Include your scholar's name and grade level; the homeroom teacher, and the date of concern.

Identified Virtual Scholars With Severe Learning Loss Next Steps

Contacts to families will begin Monday, February 22. Notices will mailed upon our return to campus. Homeroom teachers will be notified as scholars begin to return to campus for preparation. From the date of receipt of contact, there is a 2 week transition period. We reserve your right to appeal either using the medical exemption or the request for a transition meeting.

Wednesday, February 24, all scholars @ Jones Clark Elementary will log into homeroom @ 9:20 AM . We will be taking our mandatory NWEA MAP Assessment . We ask that you help us obtain accurate data as we work to administer the assessment by making sure your scholar is present and well rested.


NWEA MAP testing is important and required for our campus success.
