Dear Cypress Cubs and Families,

We had our Fall Fundraiser Step It Up! kickoff assembly this week. Help us hit this hard as the money raised goes to help fund our student field trips, schoolwide events, unique opportunities, and so much more!

Want to help make a difference in our students? Studies show that when parents are involved, our students succeed! You don't have to sign up for anything. You can show your support by becoming members of our PTA. Your contribution will make a difference in our students' lives here at Cypress. There are many events planned for the year!

Safety is our priority. Follow all school rules by checking into the office when you come on campus. In the parking lot, do NOT EXIT your vehicle when you are in the drop off lane. Please use the crosswalk so we can set the right example for our students and their families. We are a closed-campus school to ensure our students are safe.

Attendance is key to your child's success here at Cypress. Make sure you are on time everyday as every minute counts! If your child must miss school due to illness, please call the school office at (626) 974-4300 and inform us.

Join us for some fire-grilled chicken, yummy sides and warm tortillas, all while mingling with other Cypress families and raising money for our school. This "friendraiser" is from 12 pm to 9 pm so come for brunch, lunch or dinner! 20% of your purchase will come back to your students and Cypress so this is a great opportunity to raise money. District K-5 schools have a mandatory uniform/standardized dress policy adopted by the Board of Education. This policy provides an opportunity for students to dress neatly for school, and it helps students to look at others’ character instead of their attire.
