Reno Families,
I have received some complaints from residents who live on Reno Rd. and understand their frustration.
When in the parent pick up line, please do not block driveways of residences. Please allow a gap for cars to enter their driveway entrances.
We do the best we can to clear the line as soon as possible so that students get with their rides and traffic can resume flowing normally. The following are some ways that those who pick up your student(s) can help:
1) Arrive at parent pick up around 3:20-3:25. This will ensure the line doesn't back up for long periods of time before the bell rings for dismissal.
2) Have your car rider tag everyday. While I know most of the cars/parent pickup people, there are days I am at meetings, etc. and there are different callers.
3) When the caller gives you a number (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5) remember your number and go to the correct station.
4) Stay in line. Although the lines are doubled where students load, wait for Mr. Moody to direct you into the double line.
5) If your student(s) need assistance buckling, please pull in the parking lot to assist them. Please do not assist them in the parent pick up line.
6) Parking in the parking lot and entering the building to get your student, both before and after the bell slows down the line due to people crossing when stations are trying to load.
Thank you for assisting us in making the parent pick up line as efficient as possible and respecting the residents in homes surrounding our school.
Thank you,
