Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19, 1809. both of his parents were famous actors but both died by the time Edgar was six years old. Edgar than went to live with foster parents john and Frances Allan. Beginning of career
In the beginning Edgar moved around a lot. He moved to various places like Pennsylvania, Baltimore and Virginia. For a few years Edgar lived in Baltimore with his aunt and cousin Virginia. later in career
In the late 30s Edgar published many books like tales of the grotesque and arabesque. which contained many stories including William Wilson, ligeia and the fall of the house of the usher. In 1842 Edgar published a mystery novel called the murders in the rue morgue. in 1845 edgers career lifted off after the publish of the raven. A poets death
Edgar Allen Poe died on October 7, 1849. After the death of Edgar's beloved lover Virginia in 1847 he continued his alcoholism and became a drunk. At the time they diagnosed Poe's death of concussion of the brain.
