Winter Coats & Jackets

We know that Texas has rollercoaster temperatures! Please be sure to make sure your child brings a coat or jacket to school every day. We are able to go outside to play if the temperature feels at least 36 degrees. That can be quite cold with no coat or jacket!

Hand Washing

Please emphasize with your child the importance of hand washing. This time of year is flu season and we've also seen a pretty strong stomach bug circulating since the holidays.

We appreciate you helping remind your child the first few weeks about this new homework change until they can get used to the routine. :)

Oh, the Places We'll Go as a 1:1 Campus!

Your child has done a lot on their iPad this year. Try asking to see some of their work from time to time. They would be proud to show you and discuss what they had to do in order to complete the work!

Freedom to Fail Forward

Take a look at this article that includes a series of videos that highlight the importance of failing forward when meeting struggle. It's a good reminder for children but also for ourselves!
