The program is taking shape

The program is taking shape and we have a lot of very inspiring lectures about research and practice, new approaches and implementations in the learning environment. We received a lot of proposals for Workshops and Takeaways and we are very excited with all the good ideas flowing our way.

Social events

Iceland by night will take place on the first evening, right after the opening session and the first general session on the 25th. We will take a bus out of town and in a beautiful setting have a nice time with food, music, and a time to get together with our friends. This will be an opportunity to connect, mingle and enjoy.

The Grand dinner and Birthday lunch will both be at the hotel. We will celebrate the 20th international conference in Europe and our region, and hopefully as well a lot of new members throughout Europe this year.

Tours

We are offering some short tours for our conference guests, both walking tours in town and two tours visiting two interesting places, one in Reykjanes peninsula and the other to Thingvellir and surroundings.

But of course there are many possible exciting tours offered by various tour companies, The Golden Circle, the Blue Lagoon, Whale watching, Lava caves or Glacier tours, etc. Then we have a National museum, many art galleries, Settlement exhibition, Natural history and geology museum, Volcano House, Maritime Museum, Saga Museum, Whales of Iceland, etc i.e. endless possibilities in Reykjavík itself. It is worth while staying a few days before or after the conference and there will be a lot to do for your partners or friends who come along.
