In 1994, hundreds of thousands of people were killed in Rwanda. The social caste Hutu set out to kill all of the Tutsi, the upper class. Countries around the world have been dealing with the issue of genocide for years, and this one left Rwanda in ruins. Will the violence ever stop?

How the world has changed

If this genocide didn't happen, everyone around the world would feel safer. It was a disaster that destroyed thousands of lives and impacted the planet greatly. Genocide is a horrible issue that needs to be stopped.
