Emergent Bilingual Connection
The Emergent Bilingual Connection is a monthly communication for our ESL Families. It contains parent meeting dates, information on how to reach specialists, and general parent information related to English language acquisition.
PISD Family Resource Center
The Family Resource Center (410 E. 1st St.) is now open EVERY SCHOOL DAY between 10:00 and 2:00. Stop by to see all of our new items and resources and grab a free book from our new Free Little Library as well as fill out a raffle ticket for our special night out for two (including dinner and childcare!). This month's theme is Back to School Success so our "Grab and Go" table is full of books and social stories and other hand-outs related to going to school. We hope to help make this the BEST SCHOOL YEAR EVER for your family.

How Do I Volunteer?
Cell Phones
The use of cell phones during the school day (8:15-3:30) is NOT permitted. Cell phones should be put away unless directed by the teacher for educational purposes. This includes in hallways and at lunch. Please help us support our students in limiting the use of phones during the school day.
Chromebooks and Chargers
If a student loses his/her charger or the device needs repairs the parent/guardian can go to MySchoolBucks, select the Technology item, pay, send the receipt to their child so the child can show it to the tech, and the campus tech can provide a new charger or repairs.
