Hello Shark Families:
School hours: 8:25 AM-3:35 PM----Doors open each morning at 7:55 AM
I can't believe it's almost 2 weeks since our 1st day of virtual learning! I greatly appreciate your patience as we have engaged with our Shark students successfully. We are all on a huge learning curve. Our students have been the most resilient! I attribute our students' successes to you and your optimism about this situation that was out of our control. I hope you have been able to see the heart of our SES staff as they work to support all areas of learning virtually! Our staff has thoroughly enjoyed being with our Shark students!
We are ready for our second 1st day of school. Tuesday, September 8th, we are ready to welcome 460 Shark students back to the campus! We can't wait to have students in the building! If you have selected face-to-face learning for your child, you have already received important information regarding safety protocols, how to plan for a successful day, and many other tidbits from homeroom teachers. I realize that many may still have questions that will help you prepare for Tuesday, Sept. 8th. As the face-to-face teacher communication shared, I will be hosting a Zoom parent question and answer session Friday, September 4th at 12:00 PM and another one Friday, September 4th at 6:00PM. I know the upcoming start of face-to-face school is different for all involved. I want to answer any questions you have about the first day. Please join me at either session. Join the Zoom meeting using the following link: Join Zoom Meeting https://zoom.us/j/93444672625
Looking forward to our time together,
Charlotte Gilder, Principal

PTA News:
Our PTA is ALWAYS looking for parents who would like to be involved! Please reach out at schmalzpta@gmail.com to find out how to get connected with our SES PTA!
We have partnered with our PTA to offer families (face-to-face and KVA) an opportunity to come to the campus for a CHALK event. Please see the details in the picture below. It is going to be fun! This is a GREAT opportunity to capture 1st day of school pictures outside the campus.
