Principal's Message

WOW! Prom was an amazing success, thank you to everyone who attended, organized, supervised, and supported the event! In particular, we'd like to thank Ms. Vanderberg for her vision and execution in making the night an overwhelming success. The venue was beautiful and the students were well-dressed, mature, and kind.

Our first ever Spring Fest is tonight, please join us! The event is in the stadium, running from 6:00-8:30pm. There will be food, carnival games, a dunk tank (with myself in it from 6:00-6:20), and a talent show. Please see below for more information. This will be a great event, we can't wait to see you there!

Finally, graduation is just around the corner for our seniors. We will be sharing detailed graduation information very soon and look forward to a wonderful event.

Have a great weekend, and Go Bowmen!

Mr. Mitchell

Sherwood Spring Fest

Hello Sherwood community members! Sherwood High School is very excited to announce our first annual Spring Fest! Spring Fest is a carnival-style event happening at the Sherwood High School main stadium field on May 13th from 6-8:30 pm. There will be games, food, a talent show, raffle baskets, and attractions. All event booths will be set up on the turf field, not the track itself. All Sherwood community members are invited to attend this event. While admission is free, game tickets and food will be available for purchase. More information will be released soon, and a presale for game tickets will be available for sale online starting next week. Spring fest is a fundraising event; all the money raised will go towards SHS clubs, sports, and Sherwood organizations.

We want to give back to our community and be as inclusive as possible by having free admission, but we need your help! If you are able to support, below is a PayPal link to donate directly. Your generous donations will go towards event vendors, prizes, decorations, and more! This is our first year hosting Spring Fest, and your generosity will help us kick start a new community tradition!

Thank you for your generosity and support, as this event is made possible through Sherwood community members like you!

World Language Instructional Material Adoption

The Sherwood School District is recommending that Reporteros be adopted by the Sherwood Board of Directors as instructional materials for World Languages. Currently, the world language offered by the District is Spanish.

Click here: https://shs.sherwood.k12.or.us/resources/high-school-world-language-adoption/ to explore the World Language instructional materials and provide feedback. The District will also be hosting a Community Review night on June 2, 2022, from 5-7 pm at the District Office. Feedback will be shared with the Board of Directors and the community prior to a vote on adoption of the materials, currently scheduled for June 8, 2022.

Parent's of Senior and Seniors

Because of no cost meals this school year, most seniors have money in their lunch account. Please come to the cafeteria from 8-8:30 or 2-2:30 to claim your refund. If your refund is less than $5, we will pay it out in CASH. * June 2nd 8-9 only. *
