Robotics & Computer Programming Opportunities
This year we have a great opportunity for your child to be involved in Robotics! There will be a kitting day Friday, July 21st from 9:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. at North West Shoals. They will learn all about all the fun and creative things we will learn about Robotics and computer programming. If you would like to find out what Robotics is all about, please respond to msnodgrass@mhbs.org by July 14th. Pizza will be served for lunch!

Sports Media Guide Business and Personal Ads Available Now
The 2017-18 All-Sports Media Guide is in the works. If you want to purchase a business ad, contact Jay Mitchell at jamitchell@mhbs.org. Business ad deadline is August 1.
Church youth groups, parents, grandparents, friends, and fans: Let your own Panthers know you're behind them by purchasing a personal or church ad. Contact Jeanne Foust at jfoust@mhbs.org. Personal ad deadline is August 1.

9 a.m.: New Student Orientation
10 a.m.: Freshman Orientation
11 a.m.: Seniors (Schedules, Parking*, Lockers)
1 p.m.: Juniors* & Sophomores
2 p.m.: Middle School (6-8) Locker Pickup (No Orientation)
Please note: Fifth graders will have orientation after the prayer service on August 1.
*You must bring cash to purchase parking permits. Senior lot: $25. Gym lot: $10. You will need year, make model, and license number.

Other Notes of Interest:
- The Wellness Walk-in Clinic on Cloyd Blvd. will provide athletic physicals for those who plan to participate in athletics next year. The cost of the physicals will be $15, half of which will be donated back to Mars Hill athletics. Athletic physicals are good for one calendar year. Please make sure to take a copy of the AHSAA physical form with you to be filled out and signed by a doctor. These forms are not valid if they are not signed by a doctor. If you need more information, call Mike Mitchell in the high school office or Erica Hamby at Wellness Walk-in Clinic (256-275-3724).
