You've Got (Real) Mail
Soon you will receive mail from your child's teacher! That's right - regular mail in your mailbox. This is an exciting moment for you and your child, and serves many purposes! The most important reason is to let you and your child know that they are welcome here and that we look forward to building a relationship with them. We also want you to know that communication is important to us and we want you to have all the information you need to feel a sense of comfort that we are together on this journey. It is also vital that you have what you need to communicate with us and you will find that information in the letter as well. Please read through the letter with your child and complete all the information needed for them to be prepared and ready for the first day of school.
***All students should come to school on the first day with the provided name tag.
Meet and Greets
We will host Meet and Greets on September 2nd. Our 3-year-old classes are scheduled for 9:00 am and our 4-year-old classes are scheduled for 10:00 am. During that time, parents will be invited to the auditorium for a short orientation.
We will also have a school bus on site for any students new to the bus. A bus driver will take a few minutes to talk about bus safety and rules. Each child must be accompanied with one adult. Specific information will be included in the mail from you child's teacher.
PowerSchool Parent Portal
Transportation Information
If your child is taking the bus to or/and from school, you will be able to access your transportation times through the PowerSchool Parent Portal after 8/22. Please check this information again on September 2nd for the most up-to-date times.
School Hours
Our school start time is 8:30 am and our school end time is 2:45 pm.
Arrival procedures begin at 8:20 and dismissal procedures begin at 2:35. It is extremely beneficial that your child is in school on time. Routines give children a sense of security and stability. Young children gain an understanding of everyday events and procedures and learn what is expected of them as routines make their environment more predictable. Our preschoolers are busy from the moment school begins, so please help them arrive on time!
