Sign Up for Frank Kros Learning Opportunity: January 28th AHL 4:00-5:30

You will have the opportunity once again after school to learn with Frank Kros! He will be sharing strategies on assisting and helping our learners grow! If you are interested--let me know! Send me an email by January 21st to let me know you will be attending! What a GREAT opportunity to meet the needs of all students!!

Frank Kros will be in our district on January 28th and will work with all interested teachers from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. This session will focus on Executive Function Skills such as planning, goal setting, organizing, prioritizing, self-monitoring, accessing working memory, inhibitory (impulse) control and sustaining focused attention. These skills are critical to academic success and can be explicitly taught to support student learning. Frank Kros will share strategies that teachers can use in the classroom to support the development of these skills.

Positive Referrals! Celebrations! LOVE to see these coming in!

Our Positive Referral Carbon Copy Booklets have been distributed!! Did you get your's?? I know you want to be able to spread the positive!!

What are the details?

There is no magic number! My personal goal would be for ALL Dragons to get one by the end of the school year! We would like for you to celebrate all that is good academic and behavior to celebrate the GREATNESS in your students!! Fill out a positive referral!

Fill it out and have them hand it in to Mrs. Shinn or Mrs. Mazzocco at the following times to the office:

K-2 2:45 daily!

3-5 3:00 daily!

We will celebrate with them and have them post it on our Positive Referral Display in the Commons! They will have a carbon to take home to celebrate with their families!

Keep up the Positive and Remember It's a GREAT DAY to be a DRAGON!
