A Change in the Making

Trevor Wilson
Steve Jobs
Not everyone is gifted with a great childhood, for example, Steve Jobs was born in San Francisco, California, on February 24, 1955 to two graduate students from the University of Wisconsin. He was later put up for adoption. Jobs biggest contribution to the world was the turn around that put apple on the map. The company of Apple was on the brink of falling off the map in 1996 but when Steve entered in 1997, Jobs rebuilt apple into the most valuable technology company in the world, surpassing other heavyweights like Microsoft or HP.
Muhammad Ali
Muhammad Ali was born, Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. on January 17, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky. Growing up in the south during this time period was difficult for all African Americans. With the south being segregated Muhammad Ali faced racial prejudice and discrimination. His passion for boxing may have been influenced for the stuggles that he went through in his childhood.
Spotllight
Muhammad Ali faced racial discrimination throughout his life, especially in his prime boxing career. This was fuel to the fire for him. He was determined to be the best boxer ever and his work ethic proved it. Even when the times got tough, Ali persevered himself to keep going. I choose Muhammed Ali because he is not a quitter!
Spotlight
Trevor has a urge to reach his dreams in life and his hard work and determination are paying off. In his generation, many students don't have the dreams of growing up and going off to college. Everyone has dreams and every one should follow their dreams because nothing is impossible. I choose Trevor because of his desire to follow his dreams and to make it big one day.
Spotlight
Steve Jobs changed his entire life around. Being adopted at a young age is not easy for anyone. Steve was not well educated; he barely finished high school and look at him now. He was a CEO of the worlds biggest company. This shows that anything is possible, it just takes courage to try something new.
