Important Information about Thursday's Football Game vs Frisco Heritage
ATTN: Ticket info for our FIRST Varsity football game on Thursday
COVID-19 safety and social-distancing guidelines mandated by the state and the UIL require that attendance remains well below our stadiums’ capacities. For that reason, tickets WILL NOT be sold at the stadiums. Tickets will only be available for purchase online HERE so we can provide contactless transactions and entry at the game site.
Fans will need to download the free AXS App on their mobile phone. The app is available in both Apple App Store and Google Play.
After participant parents purchase tickets, any remaining tickets will be made available for purchase by the general public on Wednesday morning.
Important COVID Safety Guidelines for Game Spectators
- All spectators must self-screen for COVID symptoms
- Spectators should not attend if they have tested positive or had close contact in the past 14 days with someone who has tested positive
- Masks are required to enter and should be worn while inside the venue until seated and a minimum of 6 feet from others outside your family group
- Masks will NOT be provided
- Social distancing required (at least six feet between family groups) in the stands
*Schools not following these guidelines are subject to UIL sanctions including suspension of contests or discontinuation of public access to games by the local DEC/UIL State Executive Committee.
Additional Frisco ISD Facility Guidelines
- No outside food/drink allowed
- Concessions will be available
- Bag policy will be in place and can be reviewed here.
Frisco ISD is also excited to offer another way to watch varsity football games.
Games will be streamed live at NFHSNetwork.com, which offers live streaming of high school athletics and other school events across the country.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we strive to provide a great experience for all student participants involved in the contest while emphasizing the safety of all students, staff and the communities represented.
Sincerely,
The Frisco ISD Athletic Department

Message from Nurse Warren
Notes from the Nurse:
Hello Rock Hill Families!
We are off to a great start here at Rock Hill High School! I love seeing our students enjoying being on campus. Their joy is contagious even through the masks! I appreciate how great our students have been at being socially distant and wearing masks. Our students Rock!
Since this is a very different school year than the norm, I want to remind you to please check the online Covid screener daily before coming to school if you are a student, parent of a student for the student or staff member. If you can answer no to all of the questions on the screener- great! We welcome you to come to school.
If you answer yes to any of the daily covid screening questions, we really need you to stay home and to respond to the screener. To respond to the screener, you will then click Rock Hill and report the situation, whether the student or staff member is having any illness/ symptoms, is awaiting covid testing, has been exposed to someone that is covid positive or has been diagnosed with covid. When I receive the alert that there is a response to the screener, I will contact the you about the situation. We can talk through the situation and decide together if our student or staff member can come to school or needs to stay home. (Just because you respond to the screener does not mean you will be restricted for a long period of time).
Parents, it is very important that you keep an ill student home please. This year looks different. If your student has a headache or sore throat for example- please keep them home, answer the screener and let your student do online school for the day until I can talk with you. In years past, kids could still come to school as long as they did not have fever, diarrhea or vomiting. That is not the case this year and we want to make sure you are aware of this change. We have to be more cautious so we can continue to have in person school by keep ill students at home.
When a student becomes ill during the school day, it is important that the student visit the clinic for an evaluation. Parents, if your student texts you that they feel ill, please ask them to visit the clinic. If your student meets the criteria to be sent home, we will contact you and we need a parent to be available to pick up the student within 30-60 minutes please.
This information has been shared by Dr. Ferguson and Mr. Toth. I still wanted to share it again. We need your partnership to keep our students and staff healthy. This is a different kind of school year, but we will work together to not only get through it but to Prosper! While this is a beautiful building and the best of the best, the greatest part of working on this Rock Hill campus is how wonderful our students, families and staff are. We have the best Rock Hill family and let’s help each other stay healthy and able to attend in person school😊
Thank you,
Nichole Warren RN

Senior Spotlight: Brooks Richardson - Offensive Line
“I came to Rock Hill to be a part of something special and new that will start a legacy for years to come.”
Q: What does it mean to be part of the first graduating class?
“To be a part of the first graduating class means that we are starting the first traditions for Rock Hill High School that will carry on through school history. It’s very rare that you get the chance to be a first graduating class of a school and especially a school as nice and special as Rock Hill. “
Q: What are your goals for this year?
“My biggest goal is to lead my team to an undefeated season. I also would like to see our team establish a strong presence in the state for being an elite football program. “
Q: What excites you about the upcoming season?
”This football season is very exciting as we get to play in a very competitive district. I am grateful to have been blessed with an amazing coaching staff that works hard everyday to put the best product on the field to win. We have worked hard through the summer and we are ready to compete. I think that we are going to have a great season and I'm excited to see where we stack up against our competition.”
Coach Spotlight: Kamm Coker - Outside Linebackers
Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Coshari Chacchia
"I teach English IV, Personal Career Independent Study (PCIS ), and serve as the English Department Chair."
Q: Why did you choose to come to Rock Hill? What does it mean to be part of the RH family?
“Ever since I started teaching seventeen years ago, I have always wanted to help open a brand new school and be a part of establishing the school's culture. Being one of the original members of the Rock Hill family means being the rock. We are the foundation of everything that begins here. I don't take that responsibility lightly and I don't think anyone that chose to be here does. If the foundation is weak, the house cannot stand. We are literally the ROCK that Rock Hill is established upon. Our positive environment, our hard work and dedication, our belief in one another, and our love for each other all make Rock Hill the place to be.”
Q: What are you most excited about with the upcoming football season?
“I'm most excited about watching my Senior football players lead the Blue Hawks to their very first victory on the football field and then watching them continue to lead our school through their actions and their attitudes. Go Blue Hawks! Be THE ROCK!”

Parent and Guardians,
We are so excited to be a part of the opening of Rock Hill High School and laying the foundation for the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). July started with a great boost with an amazing membership drive. As parents and guardians, we believe that we all have similar goals. We want our children and the students attending Rock Hill to laugh, to be challenged, to be entertained and to feel the support of those around them. PTO is here with the students and teachers in mind. Every decision PTO makes is with the focus of each and every student and teacher. We encourage you to join the PTO and stay connected with all upcoming PTO sponsored events.
Should you have any questions, comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to use via email at rockhillhighpto@gmail.com.
