Site Based Decision Making Committee - need nominees!
Last week's faculty meeting was to get your team familiar with your team's part of the bigger CIP. Did you look at the strategies and make sure they were getting done?
You also were to start looking at the data.
The next meeting, you will answer all the questions on your comprehensive needs assessment.
Then, you will review the need for each of the existing strategies...are they appropriate? Do they address the needs you discovered when you completed the needs assessment?
So, you will come up with a new and improved plan and a member of your team will present it to the Campus Education Improvement Committee. From there, the CEIC will make recommendations on which of the strategies deserve priority (because there is only so much time and money to go around).
And next year, we follow the same process. Continuous School Improvement...it's what's for dinner!
We need one more teacher representative for the Site Based Team that meets once a month and ultimately helps approve the final CIP (think of the power!). Our returning reps this year are Lara Chapman, Cody Pruitt, and Robyn Statham. We need one more. Please email me nominees by Thursday and we will have a survey monkey vote on Friday!
If you coach a UIL sport or event...
Early Release on Wednesday, September 30!
Randy and I will be meeting at the end of this week to see which teachers are not on pace to meet Canvas expectations. Please plan to meet with Randy this week if you need help!

We would LOVE to announce scores after games, but we need coaches to submit them, please!
