Monday Memo
May 25, 2020 @MMSCougarPride
Greetings and Updates from Ms. Gronau
Hi MMS,
We congratulate Louis' son Zece on his 18th birthday and upcoming graduation! What a beautiful family! Do you have a graduate you'd like to celebrate? Pass it along for the Monday Memo!
We hope that you had a wonderful long weekend. I know there are a number of questions about the end of the year (building access, closing procedures, questions from teachers, etc.). We are waiting for guidance from central office and will be in touch as soon as we have information to share. The Superintendent may send out communication to staff this week, so please continue to check email.
Interviews have been scheduled for summer bridge and summer intervention. If you did not receive an interview invitation and you applied, please reach out to Dara and we'll get you scheduled!
Information about our June 9, 2020 Welcome to MMS Event for Incoming 6th Graders is also attached (and previously sent via email). Scroll down for the flyer and directions for how to attend the WebEx event.
Reminder--Grade change forms are now digital due to school building closure. Scroll down for directions from the IT department regarding how to complete Grade Change forms through PowerSchool.
GCN Training-Please remember to complete your mandatory trainings using your GCN login info.

Tuesday Talks
On May 26, 2020 we will continue our 1:30pm Tuesday Talks to connect with you and share information. Zoom is preferred by staff so we'll stick with Zoom. The link is below and is also in the MMS master calendar.

*Though we don't have official language around what's permitted and what isn't, the district has advised that Hangouts and WebEx are considered more secure if you are using video conferencing with students or families.
We will continue to send a reminder link on Tuesdays.
