Andrew Jackson

Andrew Jackson's presidency

  • He removed 16,000 Cherokee Indians from their home to Oklahoma
  • He vetoed too much and abused his powers
  • He killed the national bank when it helped stabilize the economy

King Jackson

  • Andrew Jackson abused his veto right. He vetoed almost everything that was sent from the legislative branch because they were different party. Also when he would be declaring a law, he wouldn't care if it was right. He would only care if it didn't help him.

Guaranteed to be a terrible president

Trail of tears

  • Andrew Jackson made 16,000 Indians move from Georgia to Oklahoma. He did this because they found gold and they were able to grow cotton down there. Almost half of the Indians died on the way there.
