PHMS Announcements: Feb. 24-March 2, 2019
1. The Spanish Immersion classes are sponsoring our “Pennies for Patients” campaign that will raise money to help patients with blood cancers and their families through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Donations will be collected in homeroom. The homeroom that donates the most will win a pizza party. Our school wide goal is to raise $2,019 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Our campaign will run through Friday.
2. Thursday is National Chili day. A free bowl of chili with be served with a meal purchased from the PHMS Cafe that day.
3. Dr. Seuss’ Birthday is Friday. To celebrate, the PHMS Cafe will serve green eggs & ham. Students and staff are encouraged to dress up in their best Dr. Seuss attire that day.
4. Attention Aspiring Cheerleaders! There will be a mandatory Parent Meeting on Monday, March 4 at 6 pm in the Little Theater of Lexington High School for anyone interested in trying out for cheerleading for the upcoming year. Tryouts for Lexington High, Pleasant Hill Middle and Beechwood Middle will be held Monday, April 8-Wednesday, April 10. 5. Cold and flu season is here! Teacher supplies of hand sanitizer, disinfecting spray and wipes are quickly depleting. Donations of these supplies would be helpful and much appreciated by teachers and staff.

Region 2 Honor Band Clinic
Congrats to these band students. They were selected to the Junior Alternate Band and Junior Honor Band at the Region 2 Honor Band Clinic on Saturday.
