South Maple Readathon
To get students excited about reading and support our funding for classrooms and school events, we are going to have a schoolwide contest. Our theme this year is “Roar into Reading.” Classrooms will be teamed up together during March to compete with one another to see who can read the most minutes for the month. While reading, the students are going to ask family and friends to sponsor their reading by making a monetary pledge towards the minutes they read. Our goals by the end of the month are to spark excitement within our student body for reading and to raise funds to go toward classrooms and schoolwide events.
More information from PTO will be emailed to you and each student will bring home information regarding this fun-filled month on Monday, March 1st. Please encourage your child to read, read, and read during the Month of March! Thank you!
Transfer Requests
The end of the trimester is March 12. At that time, no more transfer requests will be allowed between face to face and online learning, or vice versa. Please contact the South Maple Elementary office before March 5th if you would like to discuss a change.
