Preparaing for the PSSA: Students in Grades 3 and 4
PSSA testing will take place on April 9-11 for reading and mathematics and April 22-23 for science. Thank you for your help ensuring your child's attendance at school on those days and for helping to reinforce the importance of these tests. A good night of sleep and a healthy breakfast will help our students do their best!
Spring Book Fair Scheduled
The Spring Book Fair will be held during the week of April 15-19. Developing a love for reading is essential to ensuring that children will be life-long learners. Please consider the purchase of one or more new books for your family library.
Important Information and Reminders
Springtime means more time spent outside for recess and physical education classes. Please continue to dress your children for time outside. In the interest of keeping our children safe, a new District policy requires all volunteers to obtain criminal and child abuse clearances as well as complete a tuberculosis screening. Although the new policy will not be fully enforced until next school year, I am asking our Eagleville volunteers to complete this process as soon as possible. Further information can be found on the District website.
