All students are invited to participate in the Art Contest to design the cover for this year's Cozine Yearbook. Students must get their design paper from Ms. Adkins in the Art Room. Colored pencils and markers work best. All designs are due to Ms. Adkins by Friday, November 5, 2021.

The design should include the school name, school year, and school theme.

Yearbooks will be going on sale soon. Watch for a flyer to come home with information on how to purchase a school yearbook. You won't want to miss out!

covid central

Please utilize the Clark County School District’s COVID-19 Parent/Guardian Hotline to report your student’s positive COVID-19 test result or your student’s recent exposure to a COVID-19-positive individual.

The CCSD COVID-19 Parent/Guardian Hotline is available Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and can be reached by calling (702) 799-4322. Free COVID-19 testing options are available at Southern Nevada Health District, and vaccination resources are available at Southern Nevada Health District Vaccines.

School Grounds

We are asking for your help to keep our school grounds beautiful. On the weekends, we have noticed that the front parking lot is being vandalized and littered with garbage. If you or your family notices any suspicious activity, please notify the school office so we can work together to keep our community clean!

REMINDER: Parking Lot

Our main goal is to keep our students safe. Our parking lot is closed in order to provide our students who walk home with an extra layer of protection. Daycare buses, CCSD buses, CCSD staff, and vehicles with handicap placards displayed are the only vehicles that will be permitted to enter the parking lot during arrival and dismissal times.

Additionally, there is one designated entrance and one designated exit for the parking lot to keep the flow of traffic in one direction. If your vehicle is permitted in the lot, you will need to park in a marked spot while waiting for your students.

Finally, please remember to be kind to the teaching staff that is manning the parking lot as they are there to keep your children as safe as possible.

REMINDER: Fall Festival Donations

Mark your calendars! The fall festival Thursday, October 28. We are looking for volunteers and donations of the following items:

  • Individually wrapped, store bought cupcakes, Little Debbie snacks, brownies, or another cake product for the Cake Walk
  • Bags of fun-sized candy

REMINDER: Dismissal Procedures

To help with congestion at the gate, please approach our dismissal gate only when your student's class is arriving on the playground. By waiting for the appropriate time, we can eliminate unnecessary crowding.

Our dismissal times are as follows:

3:05pm- Kindergarten and first grades

3:10pm- Second and third grades

3:15pm- Fourth and fifth grades

REMINDER: Symptom Check

Please make sure that you are checking your student for the following symptoms before school each day. If your student is sick, please keep him or her home to monitor symptoms.
